Set on a panoramic hill at 380m. above sea level, Massa Marittima, of Etruscan origin, is one of the most ancient and fascinating villages of Grossetano. Its narrow streets, where it is pleasant to walk to the discovery of old artisan shops, ascend and descend the hill opening in evocative glimpses on which overlook the Palazzo del Podestà, the Palazzo Comunale and the wonderful Duomo of the thirteenth century.
